Kenny Dunn was appointed to the Tennessee Board of Regents on July 1, 2009, by Governor Phil Bredesen to serve as the Faculty Regent for the 2009 - 2010 term.
Dunn is an instructor of Basic Machining and Computer Numerical Control Machining, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor and Computer Numerical Control Programming at the Tennessee Technology Center at McMinnville. He has been at the TTC since 2000; prior to that he owned two private businesses, Tennessee Business Systems and Tennessee Tool Design.
Dunn is a graduate of White County High School and is a native of the county. He serves on the White County Economic and Community Development Board and is a very active member of Robinson Chapel Presbyterian Church. A veteran of the Vietnam War, Dunn was a Sergeant E5 with the U.S. Army from 1968-1970 and served as an advisor while in Vietnam with MACV (Military Assistance Command Vietnam).
Dunn and his wife, Gretta, have two daughters, Jacqueline and Cadie, and a grand-daughter, Audrey.
