Chancellor Search 2010
The Tennessee Board of Regents selected John Morgan as chancellor at a special called meeting held via conference call on Friday, August 6, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. CDT. In selecting Morgan, the board was acceepting the recommendation of the Chancellor Search Committee, which voted unanimously July 30 to recommend John Morgan to the full board as the system’s seventh chancellor, succeeding Charles Manning, who is retiring effective December 31, 2010. The search committee was chaired by Regent Agenia Clark. Its members were Vice Chair Bob Thomas, Regents Pam Fansler, John Farris, Fran Marcum, and Stanley Rogers, Student Regent Sean Ochsenbein, Presidents Tim Hall (Austin Peay State University) and Nate Essex (Southwest Tennessee Community College), and Director Don Sadler (Tennessee Technology Center at Crossville).
