| The Office of Academic Affairs periodically
publishes policy briefs to keep you informed of many of the initiatives
underway in academic affairs and other units at the Tennessee Board of
Regents. These summary briefs and their associated research and policy
papers will focus on specific issues of interest to TBR. This first
paper in the series deals with questions related to “Access” and the
challenges and opportunities associated with increasing participation
rates and degree attainment. Future briefs in the 2005-06 series
are being planned around the other three areas of the TBR Strategic Plan
– Quality, Resourcefulness, and Leadership. We hope you enjoy these
briefs and find them beneficial.
