The TBR Central Office uses a Fujitsu F9600
telephone switch. This switch provides telephone access for 75+ staff members,
10 FAX machines, modems, and meeting rooms. The switch is located in the
Computer Room and has wiring units on the third, fifth, and sixth floor of the
Genesco Administration Building.
Voice Mail is provided through an arrangement
with Tennessee State University (TSU). TSU uses a similar Fujitsu telephone
switch and provides technical support as needed. TSU performs preventive
maintenance and backup procedures every weekday between 6:45am and 7:30am during
which the Voice Mail is not available.
