Finance and Business Operations Committee Meets

 The committee will discuss the Stark Loan Fund and continue discussions related to maintenance fee and tuition rate proposals. The full Tennessee Board of Regents will vote on any tuition and fee recommendations at its June 21 quarterly meeting at Walters State Community College in Morristown.

The meeting is open to the public and the press as listeners. Office of Organizational Effectiveness & Strategic Initiatives 

Several new and existing initiatives and units were reorganized in 2013 to form the Office of Organizational Effectiveness and Strategic Initiatives. OESI provides leadership and cross-functional support to the central office and to system institution in the areas of:

  • Evaluation and assessment of progress on campus and system goals- with specific focus on the goals related to the Tennessee Complete College Act 2012 and Drive to 55;
     
  • Coordination, guidance and management of system efforts to increase access and success opportunities for students and employees;
     
  • Identification, implementation, and assessment of technology innovations and other strategic initiatives to address emerging system needs and opportunities.
