After reconvening its biennial session on January 12, 2010, the 106th Tennessee General Assembly adjourned sine die in the early morning hours of Thursday, June 10. The legislative session proved to be significant for education - both higher education and K-12 - as a result of the general assembly's extraordinary session during which the legislature passed the Complete College Tennessee Act of 2010 and the Tennessee First to the Top Act of 2010.
We invite you to review our annual Legislative Compilation. This is a comprehensive document that includes legislation that was passed by the Tennessee General Assembly and will affect Tennessee higher education, the TBR System and its member institutions. For each bill included, the compilation provides a brief summary, its effective date, and the hypertext link to the public chapter.
