The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) take seriously all complaints regarding
copyright infringements. Copyright infringements are made when material is
copied without the permission of the person holding the copyright and stored on
a TBR server for the purpose of providing that information to others.
Copyright infringement does not occur merely by listing a URL to a server where
the copyrighted material resides. See For the TBR to be on notice of the presence of infringing material, the DMCA http://lcweb.loc.gov/copyright/legislation/dmca.pdf states that notification must be provided to us with the following information.

A letter or fax containing this information and the
signature of the copyright holder must be sent to: Upon receipt of this information TBR will contact the user who is infringing on the copyright and inform them that they must remove or block access to the infringing material. The user may respond with a counter-notice which includes:
TBR will give this counter-notice to the original complaining party, and allow access to the infringing material within 10-14 days unless we receive notice that a lawsuit has been filed over the material.
