Finalists selected for president of Volunteer State Community College

A Tennessee Board of Regents search advisory committee has selected three finalists for the next president of Volunteer State Community College. The finalists will participate in open forums with the campus community and the public April 24-26, the next step in the selection process.

The Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology at Harriman, Hartsville and Knoxville have earned VETS Campus certification by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission, certifying the colleges’ commitment to programs and services to help veterans succeed as they pursue their education.

Chattanooga State Community College Advanced Manufacturing Building

The Chattanooga State Community College community gathered on Friday, March 1, to celebrate the grand opening of its new Advanced Manufacturing Center. 

The Advanced Manufacturing Center opened to students ready to explore exciting new career paths in January 2024. Industrial Electricity, Industrial Maintenance-Mechatronics, Computer Support Technician, Medical Assisting, and Administrative Office Professional programs are all housed in the new building, along with an expanded Student Services Department and 80 additional parking spaces.
