Our Work

What We Do

TBR colleges are major contributors to the state’s efforts to increase post-secondary completion rates. Our colleges are community-based and focused on student success and workforce development.  In accordance with the open-access mission, our colleges provide a post-secondary pathway to a broad range of individuals. Some groups of students have been historically underserved or less successful than others in the pursuit of quality, post-secondary education. The result has been  gaps in access and success. Providing meaningful access to our colleges, as well as access to the tools and resources needed to be successful, should substantially reduce or eliminate those gaps, resulting in substantial increases in overall completion rates.

The Organizational Effectiveness office works in a cross-functional capacity with system and college personnel to provide resources, guidance, and support regarding system and national best practices for closing access gaps and increasing success rates for students, faculty, administrators, and staff.
