The Office of Organizational Effectiveness provides guidance and support on equity initiatives designed to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion opportunities at all levels in the system. The goal of increasing equity in higher education takes on new meaning through the lens of college completion. Building and sustaining equity comes by creating a diverse and inclusive environment that welcomes and values each person and their unique and common elements. Inclusiveness leads to engagement and engagement is a critical factor in an individual's success. Ultimately, these efforts also contribute to workforce development by producing individuals who meet the needs of the business community for a diverse and culturally competent workforce.
