The Tennessee Board of Regents committee chairs will meet Wednesday, May 29, 2024, to hear informational reports and a new program proposal and preview the agenda for the full board’s next quarterly meeting June 13. The board’s Personnel and Compensation Committee, Finance and Business Operations Committee, and Audit Committee will meet after the committee chairs, to consider items that will be sent to the full board’s June 13 meeting – including recommendations on tuition and fees for academic year 2024-25.

The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) has extended the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) deadline for the Tennessee Promise scholarship program to Friday, May 31, 2024. The new deadline provides high school seniors and their families additional time to complete their FAFSA and remain eligible for the state’s tuition-free higher education program.
