Chancellor Search Committee Selects Candidates
for First-Round Interviews
The Tennessee Board of Regents Chancellor Search Committee met on February 17 and selected candidates to be invited for interviews February 26-27. Applicants will continue to be accepted until February 25, when there will be a telephonic meeting of the search committee at 10:30 a.m. CST to consider any additional applications. The candidates selected thus far for interviews are as follows:

The interviews will be held in the Executive Conference Room of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority at One Terminal Drive, Suite 501, Nashville on February 26-27. A full interview schedule will be made public as soon as it is developed. Following the interviews, the committee will meet and select finalists for the chancellor position. The interviews and subsequent committee meeting will be open to the press and the public as observers. The finalists are scheduled to be interviewed by the full board March 9, 10 and 11. TBR Chancellor Charles Manning, who has served in the position of chancellor since 2000, will be retiring effective June 30, 2009.
