Recommendation for New Director at TTC-Pulaski Added to Agenda for TBR Special Board Meeting Oct. 1

The recommendation for a new director at the Tennessee Technology Center at Pulaski has been added to the agenda of the special telephonic Tennessee Board of Regents meeting on Monday, Oct. 1, at 3 p.m. CDT.

Tennessee Board of Regents Chancellor John Morgan will recommend to the Board that Tony Creecy be appointed the next director of the TTC-Pulaski.

Creecy, who was appointed interim director at the TTC in July, has served as assistant director since 2004. A graduate of Giles County High School, he attended the TTC in Pulaski, earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and later received his master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Cincinnati. He has 27 years of administrative experience at the TTC-Pulaski.

The TBR is the nation’s sixth largest higher education system, governing 46 post-secondary educational institutions. The TBR system includes six universities, 13 two-year colleges and 27 technology centers, providing programs to more than 200,000 students across the state.
