Finance and Business Operations Committee Meeting

Academic Initiatives 

The Office of Academic Affairs undertakes selected system-wide initiatives that have a significant impact on operations in either the short or long term. The Teaching Quality Initiative is intended to transform the way teachers are trained and the level of performance they achieve. The Academic Audit process is a valuable self-study by faculty of their own programs with a view to improvement. The P-16 initiative is intended to engage all local or regional stakeholders at every level of public education in assessing strengths and weaknesses in their own area and addressing those weaknesses. The Regents Academic Leadership Institute focuses on providing interested faculty with the opportunity to engage in leadership development activities that will equip them for undertaking administrative duties if they so choose.
