Non-Credit Instruction & Industry Training Reporting

All TBR institutions creating new workforce/non-credit instruction and/or training programs must provide notification to TBR Center for Workforce Development before delivery of the training.

The scope includes the development, delivery, or purchase of training programs for businesses, industries, or other workforce partners.

Please submit the requested information using the online form below. Unless contract approval is required as set out below, you may begin training immediately following your submission and any required institutional policy. The Center for Workforce Development will only contact you only if there are questions, otherwise there will not be a response to the submission.

The goal is to ensure a current database of all workforce/non-credit training at TBR institutions.

For TCATs Only: Once the notification form has been submitted, the Center for Workforce Development will review it to assign the training a special CIP Code and then transmit the program information to the Banner team for build-out per normal processes.

Approval of Certain Contracts Relating to Non-Credit Programs

While revisions to TBR Policy 4.02.01.00 proceed through the regular process, agreements/contracts must be submitted to the System Office for approval by the Chancellor or designee if the agreement/contract involves a non-credit program taught by someone other than an instructor of a TBR institution if either: (a) the institution receives a commission, referral fee or similar type of payment or (b) the cost of enrollment for an individual person is more than $1,000.00 this requirement does not apply to programs in which an employer or other entity pays for training (e.g., a special industry training contract).
