The Foundation for the College System of Tennessee is the primary charitable organization of the system of a whole, which consists of 13 Community Colleges and 27 Colleges of Applied Technology.

The 27 technical colleges have a The Foundation for the Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology. It is a 501c3 and donations can be specified for: specific college, Skills USA, the Outstanding Student of the Year Program, or the James Berdet Brown Scholarship Fund.
