Chattanooga State Holds Grand Opening of New Advanced Manufacturing Center

The Chattanooga State Community College community gathered on Friday, March 1, to celebrate the grand opening of its new Advanced Manufacturing Center. 

The Advanced Manufacturing Center opened to students ready to explore exciting new career paths in January 2024. Industrial Electricity, Industrial Maintenance-Mechatronics, Computer Support Technician, Medical Assisting, and Administrative Office Professional programs are all housed in the new building, along with an expanded Student Services Department and 80 additional parking spaces.

The $21.7M state-of-the-art TCAT Advanced Manufacturing Building encompasses some 45,000 square feet and includes classrooms and learning labs for industrial electricity, industrial maintenance mechatronics, industrial automation, and computer support technician.
