Honoring September 11: A Day of Remembrance and Service
After 25 years since September 11, 2001, the memory of those we lost endures. We honor the first responders, the families and the communities whose lives were changed forever. Their legacy lives not only in remembrance but in the good we choose to do.
Each year, this date stands as the National Day of Service and Remembrance. It invites us to answer loss with purpose and to meet tragedy with compassion. Across our communities, small acts of service carry lasting impact.
We ask you to take part. Volunteer your time, support a neighbor or lend a hand to a local cause. In serving one another, we build stronger communities and carry forward the unity that defined our nation in its most difficult hours. At TBR, we remain steadfast in honoring the memory of those we lost — and committed to the values of service, compassion and community that continue to guide us forward.
The College System of Tennessee is the state’s largest public higher education system, with 13 community colleges, 22 colleges of applied technology, and the online TN eCampus serving approximately 170,000 students. The system is governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
