It's National Signing Day for students pursuing a technical career!

Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology will join other technical schools and community colleges across the nation in hosting National Technical Letter of Intent Signing Day ceremonies for students who intend to pursue a technical career pathway in the 2018-19 school year.

Similar to signing day events for NCAA athletes, National Career & Technical Education Signing Day honors students who are making a commitment to reserve their spots in programs that lead to in-demand, technical career options with good earnings potential. 

Industry representatives from Snap-on, Trane, Greenlee and Festo will be in attendance at several TCAT locations to show their support for technical education and meet future workers.

Most TCAT signing day ceremonies are scheduled between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. today, Feb. 15.
