  TBR Schedules Ad Hoc Committee on Capital Outlay and Capital Maintenance Meeting March 6  NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 27, 2014) — The Tennessee Board of Regents Ad Hoc Committee on Capital Outlay and Capital Maintenance will hold its next meeting via telephone at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6.The committee will review and act on the 2014-15 Capital Budget request disclosure amendment.The meeting is open to the public and the press as listeners. Contact may be made in person, by writing, by e-mail, by telephone or otherwise and should be received no later than noon March 5. The Tennessee Board of Regents is among the nation’s largest higher education systems, governing 46 post-secondary educational institutions. The TBR system includes six universities, 13 two-year colleges and 27 colleges of applied technology, providing programs across the state to more than 200,000 students.

 

The College System of Tennessee is the state’s largest public higher education system, with 13 community colleges, 24 colleges of applied technology and the online TN eCampus serving approximately 140,000 students. The system is governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
