The Volunteer State is home to the Tennessee Tile Valley, which features eight ceramic tile manufacturers. This artistic and innovative industry offers workers opportunities to use enhanced technology to produce sustainable products. The industry is also known for being family-friendly, offering job stability, multifaceted skill development and career advancement opportunities for creative individuals. The College System’s technical colleges offer programming with direct entry into the ceramic tile industry, including:

  • Tile Manufacturing Operator program - TCAT Dickson - (main campus & Clarksville campus)
  • TCAT Hohenwald - (main campus & Maury County Instructional Service Center)
  • TCAT Upper Cumberland (Crossville campus and Cookeville Higher Education Center)
