TCAT Northwest hosts Fourth Annual Fish Fry
TCAT Northwest hosted its Fourth Annual Fish Fry in Newbern on Aug. 14. More than 500 people gathered to support the campus's technical education programming and training.
As part of the festivities, the College System's Cris Perkins, associate vice chancellor for strategic advancement & athletics, presented the Chancellor's Award to Leeward Renewable Energy for its outstanding philanthropic partnership. Attendees also got a sneak peek at the new aviation building, under construction on campus, and students learned more about career opportunities at local businesses throughout the region.
A silent auction was very successful, and many in attendance also enjoyed an incredible meal, featuring catfish, hushpuppies and all the fixings.
Thanks to everyone who attended one of our favorite events each year. Visit the TCAT Northwest website to learn more about the programs offered at the campus.
