The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) invites applications and nominations for the position of President of Cleveland State Community College (CLSCC). Situated in scenic southeast Tennessee, 30 miles northeast of Chattanooga, Cleveland is surrounded by natural beauty, and recreational opportunities. The President is the chief executive officer of the College and reports to the TBR through the Chancellor. Cleveland State is an accredited public community college committed to quality education. The College employs approximately 200 full-time employees and enrolls more than 3,100 credit-seeking students and an additional 1,500 non-credit students each fall. For more than 58 years, Cleveland State has focused on responsive delivery of the highest quality education and training at the lowest possible cost in support of workforce development, liberal arts transfer, and cultural enrichment.

Weaver, vice president of external affairs at Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville since 2022 and previously vice president for workforce and economic development at Cleveland State. She holds a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Analysis from East Tennessee State University, a Master of Arts in Education (K-12) from Tusculum College and a Bachelor of Science in Education (Marketing Education) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Before moving to Pellissippi, she was an administrator at Cleveland State from 2006 to 2022 and an adjunct instructor there from 1996 to 2022. She previously served as educator in Monroe County Schools and had managerial experience in the financial services industry and at an electric power cooperative.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership from The College of William and Mary, a Master of Science in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, both from Florida State University, and an Associate of Arts from Gulf Coast Community College. Before joining Germanna Community College, he was director of institutional research and strategic planning at Thomas Nelson Community College and had previous administrative experience at Regent University and the University of Michigan and teaching experience at Regent.

Ross, president of Pamlico Community College in North Carolina from 2016 to 2024 and formerly vice president for institutional advancement and development and executive director of the foundation at Piedmont Virginia Community College in Virginia. He holds a Doctor of Education degree with a major in organizational leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and Master of Education and Bachelor of Arts degrees, both from Slippery Rock University. Before his service at Pamlico and Piedmont Virginia, he was vice president for advancement and public affairs at Eastern Florida State College and vice president for development at Crosswinds Youth Services in Florida, owner of a publishing business, and a staff area representative for a congressional district office in Pennsylvania.
