The Tennessee Board of Regents approved new career and technical education programs at four technical college campuses, a name change for Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crossville, a revised fee schedule, and other items on its quarterly meeting agenda Wednesday.

Chattanooga State Community College Advanced Manufacturing Building

The Chattanooga State Community College community gathered on Friday, March 1, to celebrate the grand opening of its new Advanced Manufacturing Center. 

The Advanced Manufacturing Center opened to students ready to explore exciting new career paths in January 2024. Industrial Electricity, Industrial Maintenance-Mechatronics, Computer Support Technician, Medical Assisting, and Administrative Office Professional programs are all housed in the new building, along with an expanded Student Services Department and 80 additional parking spaces.
