The Chattanooga State Community College community gathered on Friday, March 1, to celebrate the grand opening of its new Advanced Manufacturing Center. 

The Advanced Manufacturing Center opened to students ready to explore exciting new career paths in January 2024. Industrial Electricity, Industrial Maintenance-Mechatronics, Computer Support Technician, Medical Assisting, and Administrative Office Professional programs are all housed in the new building, along with an expanded Student Services Department and 80 additional parking spaces.

The Tennessee Board of Regents committee chairs will meet Tuesday, March 5, 2024, to receive informational reports and preview the agenda for the full board’s next quarterly meeting. The board’s Audit Committee will meet immediately afterward to review and consider various audit matters.
