The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) will hold a special called meeting April 30, 2026, to receive and consider acting on the chancellor’s recommendations for the next presidents of Cleveland State Community College and Tennessee College of Applied Technology Oneida/Huntsville.
The meeting will be held via teleconferencing and publicly livestreamed and archived on the TBR website here (https://www.tbr.edu/board/april-30-2026-%E2%80%93-special-called-board-meeting). It will convene at 10 a.m. ET/9 a.m. CT, Thursday, April 30. Board materials will be posted at the meeting link above.
Following months-long search, review and interview processes by search advisory committees for each institution, finalists for the presidency of TCAT Oneida/Huntsville were announced April 3 and finalists for the presidency of Cleveland State were announced April 8. On-campus public interviews and opportunities for comments and feedback from the public and campus communities followed. After reviewing the feedback and more interviews with the finalists, TBR Chancellor Flora W. Tydings will present the board with recommendations for the two appointments, which the board will consider acting on at the April 30 meeting.
Upon request to board.secretary@tbr.edu no later than three days prior to the meeting, we will make space available at the TBR system office in Nashville for public viewing of the livestream of the meeting for those otherwise unable to view it directly on the TBR website above.
Persons who want to request to publicly address the board at the meeting may file a Request to Address the Board Form no later than three days prior to the meeting by following the process authorized by TBR Policy 1.02.12.00 – Requests to Address the Board (https://tbr.navexone.com/content/dotNet/documents/?docid=33&app=pt&sourc...).
