All colleges are regionally accredited. The community colleges are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC); the colleges of applied technology are accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE). Many degree programs also hold national accreditation status.

Tennessee Transfer Pathways

Degree and Credit Transferability

The associate degree you earn at a community college will transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at any public university and many private universities in Tennessee. There are 52 transfer pathways by major and 69 transfer pathways by degree.
