The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) and Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) are partnering to host a series of college outreach fairs and information sessions for students affected by the closure of ITT Technical Institute.
The Tennessee Board of Regents will meet in its regular quarterly session on Sept. 15 and 16 at Chattanooga State Community College in Chattanooga. Committee meetings will begin Thursday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. EDT and run consecutively all afternoon. The full Board of Regents convenes at 9:30 a.m. EDT Friday, Sept. 16.
The Search Advisory Committee for a new president of Jackson State Community College has been selected and will meet Thursday, Sept. 1, after a public forum to gather campus and community input.
