David Bradshaw

David Bradshaw was appointed by Lt. Governor Randy McNally to the Tennessee Board of Regents as an At-Large Representative.

David is a native of Knoxville and graduated as Valedictorian of the Karns High School class of 1985. He went on to receive his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. From 1991 – 2000, David worked as an Industrial Engineer at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge. In an effort to assist with the movement of technology from the facilities in Oak Ridge to the private sector, David became a loaned executive to Technology 2020 where he helped formed Pathway Lending, now the largest Community Development Financial Institution in Tennessee. In 2007, he was recruited as the Anderson/Roane County President for SunTrust Bank. In 2011, he accepted the position as EVP and Oak Ridge President for CapitalMark Bank & Trust, now Pinnacle Financial Partners since a merger in 2016, where he continues to manage their Oak Ridge area operations. While maintaining full-time employment, David served as mayor pro tem in Oak Ridge from 1995 until 2001 and mayor from 2001 until 2007. David currently serves as Board Chair of Three Roots Capital, the Investment Committee Chair of Roane State Community College Foundation, Treasurer of the Oak Ridge Public Schools Education Foundation and board member of Covenant Health. David also serves the State of Tennessee as a member of the Transportation Modernization Board and Board of Regents. David and his wife, Sandra, have two daughters, Caroline and Elizabeth and attend Central Baptist Church in Oak Ridge. His hobbies include traveling/camping with his family and researching Oak Ridge history.
