Clomeisha Tumlin
Ms. Clomeisha Robinson Tumlin was appointed by Governor Bill Lee to serve as Faculty Regent from 2026 to 2027.
She currently serves as the Department Head and Associate Professor of the Business and Industry Division at Chattanooga State Community College. Ms. Tumlin is the past Faculty Senate President (2024-2025) and President-Elect (2022-2024). During her 11 years at the college, she has focused on high-impact practices, student success, and career-readiness initiatives to prepare students for meaningful employment and career advancement. Prior to her work in higher education, Ms. Tumlin spent over 10 years in Human Resources in the healthcare industry, developing extensive experience in workforce development, employee relations, and organizational leadership.
Ms. Tumlin is actively engaged in her community. She serves as Treasurer for the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce East Brainerd Council and Community Haven boards. Also, she is a member of the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga’s Together We Can Scholarship Board and the Chattanooga State Community College Business Advisory Board.
She received her bachelor’s degree in human resources and general management and master’s degree in business from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Ms. Tumlin is the proud mother of her daughter, Teniya, and son, Teriq.
