The Summer Quarterly Student Affairs Subcouncil Meeting will be offered in-person with a virtual option. If you plan to attend in person, we ask that you register below. The meeting will be held Thursday, July 15 with a joint meeting in the morning with the Academic Affairs Subcouncil and an afternoon session with Student Affairs Subcouncil members only.

The Student Learning Outcome Workshop will be held on Friday July 16. Join us for this in-person working day at the TBR System Office to prepare for Fall programs by creating student learning outcomes (SLOs) and aligning assessment plans. Together we will discuss, practice, and gain more confidence with the process. Colleagues will share strategies that work well for them (QR codes, MS Forms, getting active advisors involved, etc.). Additionally, by meeting one another face-to-face we can build stronger cross-institutional relationships for future support. Teams of 3 from each institution are invited to participate and should include key staff who will be responsible for the design and execution of student learning outside the classroom. This may be the Vice President for Student Affairs, Student Activities Director, Student Government Advisor, or Student Leadership/Peer Mentoring Coordinators.

Hotel Information 

TBR will provide a hotel room block and direct bill for those traveling in from outside of Middle Tennessee at the Towne Place Suite Nashville Airport located at 2700 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37214. Please indicate below if you need hotel accommodations for the evening of Thursday, July 15, 2021, and TBR will add your name to the hotel rooming list.

Travel Reimbursement Info

  • If hotel accommodations were requested for the evening of the 15th, TBR has reserved overnight lodging for you and you should have received your confirmation from either Jaci Whitaker or Heather Brown. If you have not received your confirmation number, please reach out to jaci.whitaker@tbr.edu
  • Per diem can only be claimed if the attendee is staying overnight, all meals provided by TBR must be subtracted from per diem claimed.
  • Institutions should prepare one reimbursement for travel to include all attendees and send to jaci.whitaker@tbr.edu
