Perkins monitoring is required by the Uniform Grant Guidance and requires reflection on:

The process of Perkins monitoring completes the following:

evaluates to determine if the college is following federal statutes, regulations, and the terms and conditions of the college's processes in efforts to meet performance goals outlined in the Tennessee State Plan

Can a college be on the same monitoring level for more than one year?

No, a college will never repeat a level for multiple years
Yes, because the monitoring level is determined annually, based on the last fiscal year, colleges can repeat levels consecutively.
During an on-site Perkins monitoring the following will take place:

If the college utilized funding for equipment items, the Perkins team will come on-site to check equipment purchases.
Interviews with CTE stakeholders (faculty and staff) will occur
A thorough evaluation of Perkins fiscal operations and Perkins reporting will occur
