Marketing and Digital Strategy
The College System of Tennessee’s department of Marketing and Digital Strategy is responsible for proactively planning, developing and implementing marketing, advertising, branding, communications and online strategies which impact the image and perception of postsecondary education in our state. The department plays a pivotal role in supporting the Governor’s Drive to 55 initiative, working closely with various state agencies and our 40 campuses to promote tuition-free college made possible by the TN Promise and TN Reconnect grants.
The Marketing and Digital Strategy department provides invaluable guidance and assistance to other System offices responsible for launching new strategic initiatives and/or managing ongoing initiatives. The initiatives range from those which prepare high school students for college success (Dual Enrollment and SAILS) to ones which help students stay on track and graduate from college (TN Transfer Pathways and TN eCampus), or yet another that provides business and industry with workforce development solutions (TNTrained).
Marketing and Digital Strategy is comprised of the following teams:
Marketing and Advertising
Web and Digital Media - This team provides technical support, management and maintenance for various websites ensuring a cohesive online brand and image for the System. Websites managed by the team include: the College System of Tennessee site, all Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology sites, two TN eCampus sites, and the TN Transfer Pathways site. Joel to review and add, delete, etc.
Content and Social Media - This team creates, publishes and distributes content and information that is intended to attract, inform and engage various audience segments, stakeholders and influencers. Content formats might include newsletters, press releases, videos, blog posts, case studies and social media posts.
