Keynote Speaker - Namita Dhallan, Ellucian SVP and Chief Product Officer

Namita Dhallan

As senior vice president and chief product officer, Namita Dhallan sets the strategy and direction for Ellucian’s portfolio of solutions designed to power higher education, including cloud initiatives and partnerships. She leads the company’s Product Management, Cloud, and R&D teams. Ms. Dhallan is also responsible for leading the User Experience team which designs Ellucian's solutions utilizing a user-centric design process. Prior to Ellucian, Ms. Dhallan spent seven years at Deltek, where she ultimately served as executive vice president of product strategy and engineering. In this role, she helped lead the company’s successful transformation from a developer of on-premises solutions to a full-service cloud solutions provider. Ms. Dhallan has held numerous product development and product management roles, including chief product officer, at JDA Software Group, a provider of end-to-end, integrated retail and supply chain solutions. She also held several executive roles, including vice president of product management and vice president of product development, at Manugistics before the company was acquired by JDA Software Group. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Maryland College Park.
