Cooperatives
Through the Tennessee Interlocal Cooperation Act, public agencies are permitted to cooperate with other localities on a basis of mutual advantage and provide services that will best accord with geographic, economic, population, and other factors influencing the needs and development of local communities. The following are organizations with which the Tennessee Board of Regents has agreements resulting from this Act:
- BuyBoard
- E&I Cooperative Service, Inc.
- **Under Tennessee state law, the Colleges may only utilize E&I contracts that were competitively solicited by a Lead Public Agency (a government or public educational entity). Please verify that a specific E&I agreement meets these legal requirements before initiating a purchase.**
