Those traveling from outside the middle TN area who have been selected as a member of their institution's in-person team will need to make their own hotel reservations and claim that cost on their institution’s travel reimbursement. The following hotels may be considered for overnight accommodations for the English Language Learner Institute. Reservations must follow TBR travel policy. Individuals are responsible for confirming whether hotels offer state rate. (Please note the max lodging rate for Antioch/Nashville is $234/night and Smyrna is $125/night.) Breakfast and Lunch will be provided during the Workshop. TBR will reimburse attendees who are staying overnight for dinner and incidentals at the 3/4 travel day per diem rate ($30.75 for day of Workshop and ¾ travel rate on additional travel day) per the TBR travel policy.
All institutional attendees are eligible for mileage reimbursement. Campus teams should carpool and are eligible to receive reimbursement for up to 2 vehicles. (Please remember the updated mileage reimbursement rate is .585 cents/mile.)
Please follow your standard campus procedure to receive travel reimbursement. Your campus business office should submit 1 invoice on behalf of all attendees to TBR no later than August 20, 2022 to receive reimbursement.
