Program Integrity Student Complaint Form

Use this form only if you have a concern or complaint related to an institution's accreditation or a violation of Tennessee law.

The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) takes complaints and concerns regarding its institutions very seriously. Under the Federal Program Integrity rules (34 CFR 600.9(a)(1)(i)(A)), the TBR system office has been designated as the authority to investigate complaints about TBR institutions related to institutional accreditation or violations of State laws. Every TBR institution has a process to resolve complaints. Before a complaint is filed via this form, the complainant must attempt to resolve the matter with the institution. If the matter cannot be resolved, a complaint may be filed with the TBR.

Complaints regarding accreditation for any TBR community college can also be made by contacting the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges at 1866 South Lane, Decatur, GA 30033.

Complaints related to accreditation for any Tennessee College of Applied Technology can also be made by contacting the Council on Occupational Education at 7840 Roswell Road, Building 300, Suite 325, Atlanta, GA 38350.
