Academic Affairs Subcouncil

The Academic Affairs Subcouncil is comprised of representatives from each community college and university in the Tennessee Board of Regents System who serve as the senior administrator with responsibility over the Academic Affairs program on that campus. The Academic Affairs Subcouncil is responsible for providing feedback and recommendations on academic policies, procedures, and services, and serves as a network for professionals to share information across the system. Faculty Subcouncil

The Faculty Subcouncil is comprised of faculty representatives from each community college and university in the Tennessee Board of Regents System. This committee is responsible for serving as a liaison between campus faculty and the Board of Regents on academic issues and policies. The Faculty Subcouncil meets four times annually. Learn more.

Student Affairs Subcouncil

The Student Affairs Subcouncil is comprised of representatives from each community college and university in the Tennessee Board of Regents System who serve as the senior administrator with responsibility over the Student Affairs program on that campus. Student Affairs programs differ on each campus, but may include student activities, counseling, disability services, housing and residence life, campus recreation, student conduct, enrollment management (admissions and financial aid), health services, and multicultural affairs. The Student Affairs sub-council is responsible for providing feedback and recommendations on student life policies and serves as a network for professionals to share information across the system. Student Government Association Presidents Subcouncil

The Student Presidents Council is an organization whose membership consists of the student government association president or student leadership organization representative from each Tennessee Board of Regents' university and community college. The Student Presidents Council meets three times during the academic year, typically in September, January and March. Learn more.
