New Employee Orientation
Policies and Guidelines:
Welcome to the Tennessee Board of Regents System Office
The Office of Human Resources conducts an in-person new employee orientation program which is mandatory for all regular full-time employees. This orientation provides an overview of the system office benefits programs and services which includes health, life, disability, retirement, leaves, optional benefits, payroll information and other pertinent topics. The Benefits Orientation is essential to your enrollment in the benefit programs and receiving your compensation through the System Office.
Employees are given an opportunity to ask questions regarding employment and benefits, and complete necessary paperwork to ensure proper benefits and inclusion on the payroll. It also includes but is not limited to: work hours; educational assistance programs, performance evaluations; computer use; workplace violence; and fraud, waste and abuse.
